Vincent & Esner (Wedding Day)

The Bride and Groom are my best friends so I am honoured to become their Wedding Photographer for the day. Although I was only taking photography for the morning session, in which I need to be the emcee at the reception, I am still enjoying this wedding photography. Congratulation to Vincent and Esner!!

The next couple to get married?
Jurgen & Julie (Wedding Photography)

There's no need to say much and I hope the photos can tell everything. Cheers.

Last but not least, try out the new way of family portrait. Thanks to Louis Pang and Michael Greenberg for the inspiration.

Jurgen & Julie (Pre-Wedding session)

Nice working with Jurgen and Julie for this simple pre-wedding session. This is also the first time I took pre-wedding portraiture. Also need to thanks two of my friends, Mr & Mrs Hiew for having confidence in me.

3rd Annual Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk, Kota Kinabalu Walk

24/7/2010, Saturday, where the whole world is walking. There were 11,112 walk groups all around the world and Kota Kinabalu join the walk this year. I am happy to be the Photowalk Leader for Kota Kinabalu and on that particular day, there were around 70 walkers turn up for the walk. The weather two weeks before the Photowalk were really bad as it was really having heavy downpour almost everyday. Thank God, on the 24/7/2010, although it's a bit cloudy, but it didn't rain at all during when the Photowalk starts, really thank God for all the kind arrangement. The event starts at 4pm with a safety briefing and we start of with a long walk from opposite Centre Point Sabah down to Suria Sabah and back to Restoran Sempelan, Asia City. After the walk, I manage to get part of the walkers to sit around and share about the photos that they have taken with each others.

After this photowalk, I personally managed to arrange a Photo Exhibition and Competition on 31/7/2010 - 1/8/2010 at City Mall for all the walkers present on that day. The prize sponsor is by Foto Saga Colour Lab at Centre Point Sabah, MSJ Photography for the free family portrait session for the lucky voters and City Mall for the venue sponsor. The Photo Exhibition came out a success with 32 submissions and over 250 votes. The purpose of this Photo Exhibition and Competition is to be a platform for photographers to showcase their work to the public instead of keeping the photos they have taken at their own computer at home.

The Photowalk and Photo Exhibition and Competition was quite a success but after that two events, I was sick for a whole week, guess I was too tired. Anyway, hope that next year there will be another Worldwide Photowalk to be held in Kota Kinabalu.

The Group Photo just before the Photowalk starts.

One of my favourite photo, I name it "Still and Movement"

The other that I like, by using slow shutter together with the zooming of the lens, I created a photo which I name it "The Busy Life Of The City"

And also a big thanks to MSJ Photography for the video done:

Rainforest World Music Festival - 10.7.2010

Have been thinking of going to this international event since I was in college but only after 6 years of thinking, I 've finally managed to get an air ticket and entrance ticket to actually participate in this event. I only manage to attend the 2nd day of the event and did bring along my Nikon D3s and Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII from my friend to attend this event.

Not saying too much, just want to share the photos that I've taken at the event.
